Obituary: Rock County, Wisconsin: Albert FRANCISCO ************************************************************************ Submitted by Ruth Ann Montgomery, June 2005 © All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ************************************************************************ EVANSVILLE MAN DIES SUDDENLY Albert Francisco died suddenly Saturday afternoon at the John Apfel home, where he had been living, death resulting from heart failure. He was ill on Thursday night, but on Friday seemed to have recovered. Saturday afternoon his body was found in an outbuilding by one of the Apfel family, he having dropped dead. Mr. Francisco, who was seventy-two years old, was born in New York state. Practically all his life had been spent in Rock County, having come here when a small boy. He learned the blacksmith trade, and at one time was in the blacksmithing business for himself. At the time of his death he was assisting Mr. Apfel, janitor of the public schools. he was a member of the I.O.O.F. The deceased is survived by three brothers and two sisters, all of whom live in the West, the exact location not being known by Mrs. J. B. Runey, a cousin of the deceased, and the only immediate relative living in this vicinity. His wife died over two years ago. A brother, Charles, died at Comanche, Iowa, about four weeks ago. Funeral services will be held at the Baptist church Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock, the Rev. William P. Pearce officiating. Interment at Maple Hill cemetery.
