Obituary: Rock County, Wisconsin: Harriet FRANCISCO ************************************************************************ Submitted by Ruth Ann Montgomery, June 2005 © All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ************************************************************************ Mrs. Albert Francisco died at her home on Longfield Street at eleven o'clock Sunday morning. Her maiden name was Harriet Dickinson and she was one of a family of six children. She was born August 2, 1843 at Utica, N. Y. She remained there until the death of her mother in 1855, when the family moved to Wisconsin and settled in the town of Porter, later moving to Union. In 1863 her father died and she went to Janesville to live with her sister. On March 30, 1874 she was united in marriage to Albert Francisco of Evansville. They have always lived in or near Evansville. No children were born to them. Besides her husband, Mrs. Francisco is survived by a sister, Mrs. R. Case, and a brother in the east. Over fifty years ago she joined the Janesville Baptist church, of which she was a faithful member. She was also united with the W. R. C., but poor health in later years prevented any close affiliation. The funeral services were held from the home at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon and were conducted by Rev. Ellen Copp. Interment was in Maple Hill cemetery. Those from out of town who were at the funeral were Mrs. R. Case of Janesville and Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Ballard and Frank Miller of Madison.
