Frost was born in Vermont, March 18, 1838. In 1849 he came to Union with his parents, Harvey and Mary Frost, where he resided for fifty- nine years. June 5, 1875, he was married to Emma Powers, of Oregon, Wisconsin, who surives him. In 1908 he left the farm and moved to Evansville, where he passed away last Monday morning, after a brief illness. His sisters, Mrs. Gilmore Vaughan, of Minnesota, and Mrs. Reuben Johnson, of Evansville died a few years ago. He leaves a wife and one sister, Mrs. W. H. H. Johnson, and children, Ethel Frost of Evansville; Mrs. Dora Chapin of Brooklyn; Frank S. Frost and Mrs. Atollee Blaine, both of Chicago. Two children by a former marriage live in the West. Mr. Frost was one of this county's pioneers and always felt a keen interest in his friends of early days. His familiar figure and kindly greetings will be missed on the streets, where he was seen every day.
