Gallup, 68, of 514 Glen Street, died in Mercy Hospital at 6:40 a.m. Friday following a long illness. The former Louise Lasher was born in Fulton Township April 30, 1877, and located in Janesville following her marriage to John Blackmon Gallup, who died in 1926. Mrs. Gallup was a member of Cargill Methodist Church. Surviving are five daughters: Mmes. Julia Hauser, Platteville; Betty Frankenstein, Evanston; Marion Goede, Janesville; Beatrice Asbury, Whitewater; and Marjorie Schultz, Winnetka; a step-son Oliver Gallup of Texas; 13 grandchildren; and a brother Fred Lasher, Janesville. The body is at the Overton Funeral Home pending arrangements for the services.
