Obituary: Rock County, Wisconsin: Roy E. GAVEY Roy E. Gavey died at 5 p.m. Sunday at Mercy hospital in Janesville at the age of 49. He had been ill since the first of the year, and had been in the hospital the past three and one-half weeks, dying from a complication of disease. Deceased was born in Orfordville, Dec. 18, 1874, and had lived in Evansville the past 13 years, working at his trade as a carpenter. Sixteen years ago he married Miss Rose Guttenberg, Jefferson, who survives, together with seven children: Alfred, Lillian, Elizabeth, Marjorie, Rosemary, Ruth and daughter by a former marriage, Mrs. Marion Marsh, Madison. He was a member of the Catholic church, Woodmen of the World and the volunteer fire company. Funeral services were held Tuesdy at St. Paul's Catholic church, Rev. McDermott officiating, interment being in the Orfordville cemetery.
