GRANSEE CLAIMED BY DEATH Succumbs Sunday in Farm Home From Heart Disease; Funeral rites Held Wednesday Louis E. Gransee, 74, prominent Evansville farmer, died in his home four and one-half miles southeast of the city at 5:30 p.m. Sunday from heart disease. He had been in failing health for some time. The body was brought to the Allen funeral home Sunday evening. Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the home and at 2 p.m. in the Magnolia Christian Advent church, the Rev. Mr. Crouse officiating. The song service was led by Mr. and Mrs. Roy Greatsinger and Frank Wood. Burial was made in Maple Hill cemetery with five sons and a son-in-law, Leonard Finn, as pallbearers. Mr. Gransee was born in Germany Nov. 30, 1957, and was married to Miss Minnie Brandt in St. Ansagar, Ia. They have made their home on farms in Magnolia township for the past 37 years. Besides his wife, Mr. Gransee is survived by five sons, Frank, Walter, Paul, Edward, and Floyd, Evansville; two daughters, Mrs. M. L. Carrier, Edgerton and Mrs. Leonard Finn, Evansville; 13 grandchildren; two brothers, Charles Gransee, Delavan, and Henry Gransee, Watertown; and three sisters, Miss Alvina Gransee, Oconomowoc, Mrs. Anna Rogers, Beloit, and Mrs. Amelia Drafahl, Afton.
