When three years old she came to Elgin, Ill. In 1868 she was married to Alfred Graves of Beloit. Her husband died in March 1916. To this union there were born four children, Harvey B. Graves of Evansville, Ward Graves, Evansville, Edith Graves, now Mrs. Robert Spencer of Ethete, Wyoming, and Benj. Graves who died several years ago. For more than twenty-five years she has lived in Evansville, where she was known and loved by a large circle of friends, who felt for her in her long period fo suffering, extending over several years. The funeral took place Monday, Rev. Stephens preaching the funeral sermon, interment being made in Maple Hill Cemetery. April 3, 1924, Evansville Review, Evansville, Wisconsin
