Mrs. Susanna M. Green died at her home in Magnolia on Friday morning, March
2, 1906, being 84 years of age.

She was born in Frankfort, New York state, and came to Magnolia in 1867;
her husband and only son were by her given to her country during the civil
war and lost their lives at the front. She was a faithful and valuable
member of the Methodist church in Magnolia, a regular attendant at its
services and very much appreciated and beloved by the people of the
community where she lived. Mr. B. P. Hess is her cousin who, with his
family, are the only surviving relatives. 

Funeral services were held from the Magnolia Methodist church last Sunday
afternoon. Rev. James Churm, officiating.
