Obituary: Rock County, Wisconsin: Katherine HANOVER ************************************************************************ Submitted by Ruth Ann Montgomery, June 2005 © All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ************************************************************************ Mrs. Katherine Hanover, died Thursday evening, October 8, at the home of her brother, Nate Potter, in Madison. She was sick but two or three days. Her death was caused by pneumonia and heart trouble. The Sunday before she was in Evansville with her brother, calling on friends. Her maiden name was Katherine Potter. She was born in Franklin, Iowa, February 1, 1859. She came to Evansville with her parents in 1864. In 1883, February 1, she was married to Frank Hanover, who died in 1890. She leaves no children. The body was brought here Sunday morning and taken to the home of Byron Campbell. In the afternoon at two o'clock the funeral services wre held in the Methodist Episcopal church of which she had long been a member. The services were conducted by the pastor, Rev. Chas. E. Coon.
