She was the oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Heffel and was born Dec. 6, 1906. She had always lived at the home of her grandparents. She leaves, besides her parents, two brothers, William and Bennie, and one sister, Evelyn. The funeral was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Griffith, Monday afternoon, and was in charge of Rev. Chas. E. Coon of the Methodist Episcopal church. The house was filled with sympathizing friends, who had brought a profusion of beautiful flowers. One of the most beautiful of the floral offerings was from the men of the Baker shops. The pall bearers were Glenn Heffron, Phillip Pearsall, Keith Patterson and Leslie Miller. Those present from out of the city were Mrs. Fred Black of Montello, Mrs. Cash Gleave, Mrs. James Hubbard and Mr. Westenhaver of Madison, and Mrs. Frank Springer of Chicago.
