Obituary: Rock County, Wisconsin: Mrs. James HEFFRON ************************************************************************ Submitted by Ruth Ann Montgomery, June 2005 © All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ************************************************************************ After several months of suffering, Mrs. James Heffron departed this life at her home on Franklin Street, last Thursday afternoon. The deceased was born in Milwaukee, moving to this city with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Merrick when she was seven years old and has made it her home ever since, being united in marriage to James Heffron, Nov. 19, 1891. To this union, two children were born, Nellie, now Mrs. Stewart Day, and Glenn, at home, who with her husband and father, William Merrick, one brother, Charles Merrick, of this city and three sisters, Mrs. Chris Hanson, Beloit, Mrs. Harry Groat, Janesville and Mrs. James Douglass, of this city survive her. The funeral was held from the home Sunday afternoon, the Rev. O. W. Smith, officiating. Burial was in Maple Hill Cemetery. June 3, 1926, p. 4, col. 6, Evansville Review, Evansville, Wisconsin
