His age was about 48 years, and his death was caused by heart disease. He leaves besides a wife and six children to mourn his death, three daughters and three sons. He was a member of Leota lodge of Odd Fellows and the Order of Woodmen, here, assisted by a delegation of both orders from Janesville. The remains were received at the depot and were taken to the Episcopal church of which the deceased was a member, and where brief burial services were held, conducted by Woodman Rev. Van Swearingen. Mr. Hollingsworth had been a resident of Evansville for a number of years, and had a wide circle of friends. He carried an insurance or benefit of $1,000 in the Woodman's organization which will secure their little place in the South part of town, for a home to the widow and children.
