Howard last Thursday morning, while she was visiting her daughter, Zora D. Howard, in Madison. Mary G. Robson was born December 3, 1848, in the town of Magnolia. On December 31, 1867, she was united in marriage to Cassius C. Howard. They moved to Madison in 1901 and resided there for ten years, when they moved to Evansville, May 1, 1911, where they made their home until her death. Mrs. Howard had been in poor health for some time, but was always cheerful and hopeful. She had a large circle of friends who were greatly grieved at her unexpected passing. She is survived by her husband, two daughters, Jessie M. Gillman, of this city and Zora D. Howard of Madison, and a sister, Mrs. Marcia Clifford, of North Battle Ford, Canada. Funeral services were held at her late residence in this city, Sunday afternoon, at 2:30, the Rev. Byrd, of Magnolia, officiating. Interment was at Maple Hill cemetery.
