The announcement of the sudden death of Mrs. Jahn last week came like a blow to the people of Evansville, who had known her for many years and had learned to love her for her many good qualities. In her long residence in this city she had made for herself many friends by the kindness of her disposition and loving nature. Being the only child, the blow fell especially hard on her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harte, who have the sincere sympathy of the entire city and community.
