The deceased was born in the town of Union, April 10, 1873, attending school in the rural schools and finishing her education at the Evansville Seminary. January 2, 1896 she was united in marriage to Orin Johnson, also of the town of Union. To this union one son was born. The deceased has ever been a prominent woman in her community and church, being at her death president of St. Mary's Sodality of St. Paul's Catholic Church, of this city. She is survived by her husband, her son, Webster; Two sisters, Mrs. Matt Farrel, Evansville, and Mrs. Jennie Louden, Kansas City, Mo.; and two brothers, Tom, of Evansville, and Dan, of Beloit. Funeral services were held this morning at 10 o'clock, in St. Paul's church, with Father S. Dwyer officiating. Burial in St. Paul's cemetery.
