Obituary: Rock County, Wisconsin: Margaret KELLY ************************************************************************ Submitted by Ruth Ann Montgomery, February 2007 © All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ************************************************************************ Mrs. Margaret Kelly, who for several days hovered between life and death, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 8, 1913, at the home of her son, where for about three months she had been suffering with a stomach trouble that refused to yield to treatment. During her illness she did not complain in the least but always had a kindly greeting and good word for every one. She was a devoted mother and was highly respected by all and had many friends who deeply sympathize with the afflicted family. She leaves to mourn her loss four daughters who reside in Kansas, and two sons, Charles and Nate of Porter. Funeral services were held on Friday at ten o'clock at St. Michael's church and the remains were peacefully laid to rest in the Porter cemetery. Mrs. Nate Kelley and daughter Mary are visiting at the home of Mrs. Kelley's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bradley. January 16, 1913, p. 3, col. 1 "Porter" news, Evansville Review, Evansville, Wisconsin
