LEE The death of Harry J. Lee of this city took place near Richland Center, Sept. 7, 1911, after an illness of several months. The funeral services were held at the Free Baptist Church Sunday at 2:30 p.m., and were conducted by the pastor, Rev. C. H. Myers, and the interment was in Maple Hill cemetery. He was born in the town of Magnolia, Sept. 13, 1870, and was married to Miss Della Cole Lee, two daughters, Crystal, Bernetta, one son Ray and one brother Eugene, with other more distant relatives and a host of friends. The greater part of his life has been spent in Evansville. The first twelve years of life were passed upon the farm. After that age he followed electrical work, until failing health compelled him to seek other employment, which he found with the Baker Manufacturing Co., of Evansville, until one and one-half years ago, after which he steadily declined until the end came. Mr. Lee was converted under the administration of Rev. M. C. Miner and was baptized by him and united with the Free Baptist church April 27, 1902, and has been a loved and honored member to the end. Short services were held at the home of Mr. Lee's father at Richland Center Saturday morning, when the remains were brought to Evansville, arriving at 2:30 p.m., where they were taken to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frantz on Garfield Avenue.
