She was born in England a little over sixty years ago, coming to the United States when seven years of age. For the past twenty-seven years she has been an inmate of the asylum, being one of the privileged patients. She has one brother; Johnson Lee, in California, and a sister, Mrs. Eliza Griffin, living at Genoa, Ill. The body was brought to Evansville and the funeral services were conducted by Rev. D. Quincy Grabill in the Biglow undertaking rooms. A number of old friends and acquaintances together with Miss Lois Griffin, a niece, were present.
