Obituary: Rock County, Wisconsin: Christian LEVZOW ************************************************************************ Submitted by Ruth Ann Montgomery, May 2005 © All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ************************************************************************ SUDDEN DEATH Christian Levzow died at the home of his daughter Mrs. Frank Kutzke this city, Sept. 13, 1911, of heart failure, aged 67 years, eight months, and one day. He was born at Sulow, Germany, Jan. 12, 1844 and settled in the town of Magnolia in 1872. Mr. Levzow was held in highest esteem by all who knew him. He was one of those men whose word was as "good as gold." He was a devoted Christian and a true citizen. He leaves to mourn his demise Mrs. Wm. Levzow, Magnolia, Mrs. Frank Kutzke, Mrs. Geo. Brigham, Mr. Geo. Levzow of Evansville, and Mr. Herman Levzow of Center. His wife preceded him six years ago. Funeral services will be at his late home, 336 Main Street, Evansville, Saturday at 10 a.m., when the remains will be taken to the German E. A. church of Center of which he was a devout member for years, where a funeral sermon will be preached by Rev. H. J. Kohlhepp. Burial will be in the Center cemetery.
