Obituary: Rock County, Wisconsin: Neva Maud LEWIS ************************************************************************ Submitted by Ruth Ann Montgomery, June 2005 © All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ************************************************************************ Neva Maud Lewis passed away yesterday morning at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Smith of Magnolia, after a two week's illness with pneumonia. Mrs. Lewis was born, November 12, 1890 and was the oldest daughter. On February 17th, 1914 she was married to Wayne Lewis. She leaves to mourn her death, her parents, one sister, husband and three small children: Doris Gladys, Born, Sept. 25, 1915; William, August 25, 1917; and Alice Elaine, February 17, 1920. She was educated in the common school and began the music course at the local seminary but did not complete the same. With her sister, Mrs. Lewis joined the Methodist church in girlhood and has ever been a faithful attendant and worker in that church. She was also a member of the Evergreen Camp of Magnolia. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at two o'clock from the home. February 26, 1920, Evansville Review, Evansville, Wisconsin
