Obituary: Rock County, Wisconsin: A. R. MCKINNEY ************************************************************************ Submitted by Ruth Ann Montgomery, May 2005 © All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ************************************************************************ Mr. A. R. McKinney died at the home of his son Fred at Clinton last Friday. The remains were brought here Saturday evening to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Warren Roberts. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Methodist church, Rev. C. E. Coon officiating. Interment was in Maple Hill cemetery. Mr. McKinney was seventy-seven years old and had lived in Evansville all his life, with the exception of the past five years. His wife died eight years ago; since then he has made his home with relatives. He was a member of the Methodist church, having become a member 22 years ago. For many years he rendered faithful service as janitor of that church here and also as janitor of the City Hall. He is survived by a brother in the west, a son, Fred of Clinton and two grandchildren. Mr. McKinney's death is sincerely regretted by his many friends here, who remember him as a kind neighbor and a good citizen. July 16, 1914, Evansville Review, p. 8, col. 2 & 3, Evansville, Wisconsin
