Thomas Morgan, an honored citizen and early settler, died March 17, 1905.
He was born in Wales in 1824, and emigrated to this country while quite
young. He was married to a Miss Hoxie in 1847 and has made Cooksville his
home most of the time since his marriage. His wife passed away several
years ago. He leaves four children, Henry of Evansville, Ella of
Cooksville, Mrs. Clouden Stebbins of Stoughton and Ross of Madison. He was
highly esteemed by the community and his demise is mourned by a large
circle of friends.
