D. Barnard, on East Main Street, shortly after four o'clock Sunday afternoon, Nov. 25, 1906, of heart failure. Miss Louisa Ballard was born in the state of New York on May 25, 1820, and was married to James Osborn on Sept. 25, 1838. Mr. and Mrs. Osborn came to Wisconsin in 1864, settling upon a farm in Porter Township, where they resided until coming to this city about six years ago. On Jan. 10, 1904, Mr. Osborn died, and since his death, Mrs. Osborn has resided with her daughter, Mrs. Barnard. Five daughters and two sons were born to this Union, three of whom survive. Katherine and William died in infancy, Louisa died when sixteen years of age and Martha, wife of the late Thos. Hutson, died at Edgerton a few years ago. Jane, wife of E. D. Barnard resides in this city; Elizabeth, wife of .....resides at Janesville; and James W., who is the Northwestern agent for the Baker Mfg. Co. of this city, has his headquarters at Minneapolis. Mrs. Osborn was converted and joined the Methodist Episcopal church in her girlhood days, and for over seventy years she was identified with the church of God. By her true womanly character she was beloved by all and hosts of friends extend sympathy to the bereaved relatives. The funeral services were held from the home of Mr. and Mrs. Barnard, at 2 o'clock this Tuesday afternoon, Nov. 27th, the Rev. T. W. North, of the M. E. church officiating.
