Aged 47 years and 21 days. Mr. Parmley was born in Norton, Summit Co., Ohio, and came to Center with his parents in 1850, where he lived with the exception of a few months, up to the time he moved to Evansville, which was July 1894. He attended the Evansville Seminary in his youth and made acquaintances here then that he had renewed recently. In 1874 he was married at Seward, Nebraska, to Miss Almira Scott. His wife and two children survive him, a daughter Zeo C., and a son J. Scott. The funeral will take place from the house under the auspices of the Masonic fraternity Sunday, interment at Center. Mr. Parmley has been in delicate health for some years and he removed to Colorado for a few months hoping to be benefited. Up to within a few days he had been usually well, but at that time a complication manifested itself that resulted in death.
