Paul MILTON--Harry Burns Paul, 76, retired Lima Township farmer, at one time active in the Pure Milk Assn., died at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday in his home, Rte. 1, Milton, where he resided for the past 46 years. Mr. Paul was a charter member of Rock County Farm Bureau and was also a member of Milton Congregational Church. The son of Wallace and Ada Thorpe Paul, he was born in Milton Township Jan. 13, 1883. He attended Rock County schools and Milton Academy. Mr. Paul and Laura Mabel Hull were married Feb. 20, 1908, in the home of her parents, Dr. and Mrs. E. S. Hull, Milton Junction. They celebrated their golden wedding last year. Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Major Ruth Smith, U. S. Army, St. Louis; three sons, Walter, of Glen Flora, Wis., Harry of Blair, Wis., and Stewart, of Rte. 1, Milton; a brother, Carl Paul, Ladysmith; three sisters, Mrs. Harriet Fredericksen, Bonners Ferry, Idaho, Mrs. Mary Helen Potter, Edelstein, Ill., and Mrs. Alice Ayers, Rockton; and 16 grandchildren. Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the Congregational Church, the Rev. Talmadge Hartman officiating. Burial will be in Milton Cemetery. Friends may call at Albrecht Funeral Home, Milton Junction, Friday evening from 7 to 9.
