Peich Mrs. Erwin W. Peich, 73, of 1611 Racine St., a Janesville resident for 18 years, died in Mercy Hospital Tuesday morning following three weeks illness. The former Irene Godfrey, daughter of Joseph and Lena Brown Godfrey, was born in Lima Center Aug. 18, 1887. She was married to Erwin W. Peich Nov. 10, 1904, in Rockford. Mr. Peich died March 2, 1959. Mrs. Peich was a graduate of Whitewater High School. She was employed at N. L. Carle Co. here for several years. Surviving are two sons, La Verne E., Rte. 1 and Murel E. Peich, Janesville; a daughter, Mrs. Edwin Bobolz, Clinton; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Allen Godfrey, Whitewater, and Ira Godfrey, Phoenix, Ariz. Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday in the Overton Funeral Home, the Rev. William Riggs, Cargill Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Milton Lawns Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday evening from 7 to 9.
