Mrs. Henry Searles died at her home in this city, Friday forenoon, Jan. 25,
1907, having been in poor health for many months past.

Mrs. Searles' maiden name was Sarah A. Wood. She was born in Burlington,
Vermont, sixty-seven years ago last December, and came to Wisconsin in
1854, and most of her life has been spent in this vicinity. She was twice
married, her first husband, Mr. John Searles, died Sept. 3, 1885. On May
21, 1889, she was married to Mr. Henry Searles. Besides her husband, she
leaves one daughter, Mrs. J. F. Emery, and two granddaughters.

Mrs. Searles has always been a devoted mother kind neighbor and willing to
lend a helping hand in time of need and a wide circle of friends extend
sympathy to the bereaved family.

The funeral services will be ehld at the late home on S. First street, on
Sunday afternoon at two o'clock.
