In the spring of 1858 her husband joined the Wisconsin Conference and with the exception of a few years, she has been an active pastor's wife in the grand old church called Methodist, she having been converted at the age of 16. Her labors as such were spent in many ciites in this state. She was the mother of six children, the first born were twins, both lived until 28 years of age when Will died; the second birth also were twins who lived but an hour. Then Robert, now a successful businessman in Milwaukee came to bless the home and was followed by Ellsowrth, whose home is in Kansas. In course of time Harry's little boy came to her at three years of age, and for twenty years she has tried to train him for God, as she did every child that God gave her. The funeral services were held from the Methodist church Monday afternoon, Rev. James Churm had charge, assisted by several clergy from out of town, among them being Rev.
