Obituary: Rock County, Wisconsin: Nellie Janes WEAVER ************************************************************************ Submitted by Ruth Ann Montgomery, June 2005 © All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ************************************************************************ Mrs. Charles Weaver Miss Nellie Janes was born February 9, 1872, in the town of Magnolia, where her home was until 1895 when she was united in marriage to Charles Weaver. Mr. and Mrs. Weaver have resided in Evansville during nearly all of their married life. They had five sons, Chester, Ross, Merlin, Keith and Carl, and two daughters Alice and Doris. She had been in declining health for a number of months, gradually growing weaker until the end of her suffering came last Friday evening, September 13, at the home of her sister, Mrs. Denny. Mrs. Weaver also leaves to mourn her loss, four sisters, Mrs. V. C. Dillingham, Mrs. B. J. Dennie and Mrs. Eva Williams of Evansville and Mrs. Arlin MaGee of Janesville and two brothers, J. Janes and Fred L. Janes of this city. Mrs. Weaver was a member of the Adventist church of Magnolia. The funeral was held at the home of Mrs. Denny, Sunday afternoon, and was in charge of D. Quincy Grabill. Many beautiful flowers were brought in by sympathizing friends. The burial was in Maple Hill cemetery. September 19, 1912, Evansville Review, p. 1, col. 3, Evansvile, Wisconsin
