Obituary: Rock County, Wisconsin: Virginia Fitts WHITE ************************************************************************ Submitted by Ruth Ann Montgomery, June 2005 © All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ************************************************************************ Mrs. Frank White Buried Thursday Mrs. Frank White, 73, died at 11:15 a.m. Monday, at the home of her sister, Mrs. Fred Ellis from neuralgia of the heart. Mrs. White had been ill for the past four weeks, but had seemed very much improved recently. Mrs. White, formerly Miss Virginia Fitts, was born Nov. 23, 1852, at Belleville, where she grew to young womanhood. Fifty years ago she was married to Frank White, Dayton, at her home. Mr. and Mrs. White farmed at Dayton, later at Oregon and Rutland and nine years ago they moved to Evansville. They adopted two children, a daughter, Mrs. Grace Cline, Mankato, Minn., and a son, Ernest White, this city. Mr. White died in March four years ago. Mrs. White attended the Congregational church. She is survived by her daughter and son, three grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Ben White, Shelby, Mich., Mrs. Fred Ellis, this city. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 this afternoon in the home of her sister, Mrs. Fred Ellis, the Rev. O. W. Smith of the Congregational church officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
