Williams. DIED: William F. Williams, of Janesville, died Tuesday, Dec. 7, 1897. Death resulted from a complication of diseases, a spinal injury suffered during the war is believed to have been the foundation. Mr. Williams was born in New York state May 13, 1844 and in 1859 the family located on a farm near this city. He was for some time street commissioner of this place and filled the office with credit to himself and also to the community. He served three terms as county clerk and filled the place with entire satisfaciton to the public. Mr. Williams was united in marriage in December 1866 to Miss Ellen J. Ballard. His wife and one daughter, Mrs. H. F. Lincoln, survives him. Interment will be in the cemetery at this place. December 9, 1897, Evansville Review, p. 1, col. 2, Evansville, Wisconsin
