Friday morning, Feb. 1st, 1884, Dr. E. H. Winston, aged 43 years. The deceased has suffered from a chronic disease for years, which has gradually become worse so that he has been confined to the house during the winter. His funeral was held at St. John's church last Sunday, Rev. J. B. Finn officiating. The house was insufficient to accommodate the people in attendance, for the doctor had many friends who mourn his departure, although it has been expected for some time.
