WINSTON DIES IN WEST BURIED HERE Dr. V. E. Winston, the son of Mr. and Mrs. F. H. Winston, died at Keystone, South Dakota, Saturday. The remains were brought here Tuesday morning and funeral services were held at the F. H. Winston home yesterday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock, the Rev. D. Q. Grabill, of Fort Atkinson, officiating. Interment at Maple Hill cemetery. Dr. Winston was a successful physician and surgeon. He was born October 4, 1879, and was educated in the city schools, from which he entered the Physicians and Surgeons’ Medical college, graduating in June 1903. He practiced in Chicago for about a year, and then located in Friendship, where he made a great many warm friends during the four years’ residence at that place. From there he went West and located at Keystone, S. Dak., where he practiced until his death. He leaves to mourn his death, his widow, Emerald Matson Winston, of Keystone, S. Dak.; his father, mother and sister, Ruth Winston, all of this city, and a daughter, Therese, of Boise, Idaho, by a former marriage; also the large circle of friends he made during his practice at Keystone.
