Fred Vessel

Fred Vessel, age 58, passed away Wednesday, 29 October 1952.  He was born
May 30, 1894, in Austria, coming to the United States when a young man.  He
was a veteran of the First World War, having served overseas with the U. S.
Army.  He resided in Chicago prior to coming to the Hayward community
seventeen years ago.

Funeral services were conducted from the Koerpel Funeral Home Saturday, Rev.
Walter Kalandyk officiating.  Graveside military services were conducted by
the local Legion and VFW posts.  Interment was in the military plot in
Greenwood cemetery.
