Werner her attorney, and H.O. Buth as guardian ad litem for the minor heirs. Auguste Welsch being duly sworn, deposeth and says: I am widow of Henry Welsch Sr. Deceased. He died in Town Seneca Shawano Co. Wis. On Aug. 26th 1909. This was his home. He left no personality; I owned the personal property. He left real estate valued about $1,000.00 - 40 acres. Rents and profits are about $10.00 annually. He left no will. He left surviving myself as widow and Emilie Grunst, Edith Dorschner, Mary Arndt, Clara Eggert, Bertha Voelz and Rosa Welsch, Henry Welsch, Emma Welsch, and George Welsch; all of age except Rosa, Henry, George and Emma who are aged respectively as follows: 18, 17, 10, 16 years. The 40 a. (acres) are in—(?) the whole 80 acres – my forty & his. There are other debts on notes etc. Otto Voelz is to be the Administrator. The only assets belonging to said estate is the land described in writing (illegible word) as follows SE 1/4 of NE 1/4 Sec. 33 Town 27. N. R. 13 East, Shawano County Wisconsin subject to the dower rights of Auguste Welsch widow of said deceased and subject to the following mortgages to wit. Mortgage given by Henry Welsch and Auguste Welsch to John Kustoff, dates Dec. 26, 1904 recorded in the office of the Register of Deeds in and for Shawano County Wisconsin on the 4th of January AD 1905 in Volume of Mortgages O-1 page 241 for $150.00 Mortgage given by Henry Welsch and Auguste Welsch to Meyer & Wuek (?) dated March 22, 1909 recorded in the office of the Register of Deeds in and for Shawano County Wisconsin on the 26th day of March 1905. 9a in Volume 85 of Mortgages on page 460 For $375.00. That said Mortgages comes the following described land SW 1/4 of NW 1/4 of Sec. 34 Town 27. N. R. 13 East in said county Belonging to Auguste Welsch and that said Land was Homestead property and that said widow Auguste Welsch as owner claims the right to insist that the land above described as SW 1/4 of NW 1/4 of Sec. 33 Town 27. N. R. 13 East he sold to satisfy said mortgage debt first in case of foreclosure. … State of Wisconsin, County Court for Shawano County. Know all men by these presents, that we, Otto Voelz of the Town of Herman Shawano County State of Wisconsin, principal, and P.J. Heinl of Leopolis, Shawano Co. Wis., as surety are held and firmly bound unto Hon. F. A.
