Born in Germany on May 11, 1884, she was a daughter of the late Herman and Helena Knaak. She came to Sheboygan with her parents at the age of seven. On May 5, 1902 she was married to Otto Karnopp. He died in 1942[?]. Mrs. Karnopp was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ. Survivors include two sons, Harold of Sheboygan and Clyde of El Cajon, Calif.: two daughters, Mrs. Viola Mackenzie of Milwaukee, and Mrs. Fred (Sylvia) Langenhahn of Kohler; eight grandchildren and six great-grand children; one brother, Harvey Knaak of Sheboygan and one sister, Mrs. Gusta Wolffs of Butte, Mont. One brother and three sisters preceeded her in death. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Nickel's Funeral Home, the Rev. Vernon Jaberg, pastor of St. John's United Church of Christ, officiating. Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4:30 p.m. Wednesday.
