Gifford E-mail: jangif@execpc.com Source: The Rib Lake Herald, Friday, January 14, 1910 DIED Albert Krueger, a respected citizen of this village, died a few minutes before 12 o'clock Tuesday night, January 11, after a battle with the dreaded typhoid fever extending over a period of five weeks. A turn for the worse set in Monday and he failed rapidly until the end. The funeral will be held tomorrow (Saturday) at 2 o'clock in the afternoon from the Lutheran church. Deceased was 33 years, 1 month and 5 days of age. He emigrated from Pommern, Germany, with his parents to Rib Lake in 1887 and has lived here since. On October 1, 1903, he married Miss Emma Gerstberger. They had four children born to them, all of whom are living, three sons and one daughter, the oldest being five years old and the youngest one year. Besides his family, he is survived by his parents, three brothers--William, August and Charles; and two sisters, Mrs. Herman Knotke and Mrs. Louis Letto of Pipestone, Minn., who is expected to arrive here today. the community in general regrets his untimely death and sympathy for his family is freely expressed.
