The deceased had contracted the influenza, it is thought while at work at Kenosha where he had recently been employed, which resulted in pnueumonia while enroute from that city to his home in this village. Although given medical care, the disease had passed beyond all aid of medical assistance and for a number of days before he passed away it was known that the end was but the matter of a short time. The passing of this young man is very pathetic, as he leaves a sorrowing widow with six small children of shich the oldest is only ten years. The family is left in a destitute condition and the small finds now on hand are insufficient to defray the funeral expenses. The funerl was held Wednesday afternoon from the residence with interrment at the local cemetery.
