Smith a Corporal of Captain Newton H. Kingmans Company, I, 13th Regiment of Wisconsin, Infantry Volunteers who was enrolled on the 1st day of November one thousand eight hundred and Sixty-one to serve three years or during the war, is hereby DISCHARGED from the service of the United States, this 21st day of November, 1864, at Nashville, Tennessee by reason of expiration of term of service (No objection to his being re-enlisted is know to exist.) Said Robert W. Smith was born in England, is 22 years of age, 5 feet 8 inches high, Fair complexion, Blue eyes, Black hair, and by occupation, when enrolled, a Farmer.
