Ettrick Feb. 5 – The school in district No. 2 closed the winter term Saturday. George Larson and sister Emma were Galesville visitors Thursday. Mrs. Lars Anderson is very ill with lung fever. Mrs. Dan Mack has been enjoying a visit from her sister, Miss McCoy. Mrs. Ole Knudtson, who had the misfortune to fracture a wrist, is improving under the care of Dr. Olson. Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Anderson drove down from Lee Sunday and called on the former’s mother, who is very ill. A very felicitous event of last week was the marriage of Andrew Hagestad and Miss Martha Christianson, which occurred at the home of the bride’s parents. Both of the contracting parties are well known in the community and share the good good wishes of all. Alex. Cance of Shiocton, has been spending a week with old friends in and about Ettrick.
