Leith, of Washington, D. C., spent a few days with old friends here during the week. He was engaged in the printing business here at an early date. John Bose, of Winona, Minn., was in the city Friday. He is about to remove to Colorado, the change being made because of the ill health of Mrs. Rose. [maybe a newspaper typo] George Larson, of Ettrick and Miss Pauline Emerson were married Wednesday of last week at North Bend. Rev. T. C. Hill performed the ceremony at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Emerson. The young people are well known to a large number of Republican readers. Miss Minnie Wright, of Mendota, spending a few days with friends here. Johnny Curtis, of Witoka, Minn., … at his home here. Miss Jessie Ball, of Minneapolis returned to her home Saturday, after a visit with relatives in this vicinities.
