This file was contributed for use in the USGenWeb Archives by: Nancy Schroeder 28 February 1999 ==================================================================== Anna Kjentvet Dies at Age of 90 Years Anna Kjentvet, 90, one of the oldest settlers in the Town of Albion, died at her home Monday, January 1, 1940. She was born Anna Brynildson in Tinn, Telemark, Norway and came to this country with her husband Ole Olson Kjentvet, and infant daughter in 1879. They settled first in LaSalle County, Illinois and located in the Town of Albion, Trempealeau County in 1891. She is survived by one son, Ole, at home; two daughters, Mrs. Sophia Neys of Eau Claire, and Anna, at home; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ole, in 1929 and daughter, Julia, in 1939. Funeral services will be Friday at 1 p.m. from the Kjentvet Funeral Home and at 1:30 from the Trinity Norden Church, the Rev. J.A. Westberg officiating. Interment will be in the Norden Church Cemetery.
