Parrish, age 86, of Tomah, WI, died Sunday, April 24, 1991 at St. Mary's Nursing Home, Sparta, WI. He was born on Aug. 26, 1904 in Forest Township, Vernon County, to Jasper and Susie (Greenfield) Parrish. He was a cheessemaker and worked at various factories in Vernon County. He is survived by one son Melvin Parrish, Jr., Genoa, WI; six daughters Melva (Duane) Yritti, Milton, WI, Ella "Babe" Huntington, Genoa, WI; Barbara Davidson, Genoa, WI, Lola (Paul) Davidson, Knob Noster, Missouri, Carl (Don) Isbell, Janesville, and Joy (Forrest) Hart, Tomah; 34 grandchildren, 77 great grandchildren; two great- great grandchildren; one brother, Leonard; and two sisters, Freda McCracken, Kendall, WI, and Nora Kingsley, New Lisbon, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter and four brothers. Funeral Services were held on Wednesday, April 17,1991 at 1:30 P.M. at Fick Funeral Home, Hillsboro with Rev. Donald Ehler officiating. Burial was in Johnny Cake Cemetery, rural Ontario. Friends called at the Fick Funeral Home, Hillsboro on Wednesday from 12 noon until time of service.
