At 18 he went to Il. and served an apprenticeship for two years, as a cabinent maker.He removed to Rock County, Wi. to work with his brother, until 1861.He married Lucinda Rhinart, 31 Oct. 1861. In 1889 he moved to Vernon County, where he lived the remainder of his life.Six children were born to this union, Viola J. Bunts of Woodman,Wi.,John F. and Herman A. of Hillsboro, Elmer E. of Agusta,Wi.,Mary D. Mason of Beloit,Nora Bunts of Millville,Wi. Mrs.Setzer died 12 Aug. 1893. Mr Setzer married a second time, 20 June 1894 to Parmila Arnold, who passed away in 1923. Deceased is survived by one sister, Mrs.Lydia Brossman of Naperville,Il.,42 grand children and 46 great grand children. Additional Comments: Mary D Mason was actually Maxson.
