The Rev. Raymond Warren, pastor of the Trippville Wesleyan Methodist Church, officiated at the rites. Burial was in the Hillsprairie Cemetery. Thomas Roberts, son of John and Sarah E Roberts was born at LaFarge, Vernon County, Wisconsin, on April 5, 1902. He passed away in Hillsboro, Tuesday afternoon, March 7, following an accident which caused his death. Most of his life was spent in Hillsboro Township, near Trippville. On October 19, 1921, he was united in marriage to Bessie Ellen Boldon, the ceremony taking place at Hillsboro. To this union were born five children, four of whom are living. He is survived by his wife, four children, Floyd, Wanda, Thelma and Earl; four brothers, Gilbert of Mauston, James and Cyrus of Monico, Wisconsin, Gene of Trippville; one sister, Thelma, (Mrs. Green Arrowood) of Monico, Wisconsin. He was preceded in death by one son, Gerald; his father and mother; two sisters, and three brothers. Mr. Roberts was a kind husband and father and a friend to all who knew him.
