The stones have been harvested off the Matteson farm, next door. Beverly is the caretaker of the cemetery. This cemetery in not on the county records and is not taxed. It has no association or owner. The people that are buried here are "neighbors". Several people in the cemetery were suicides. Many of the graves are unmarked. You only know that someone is there from the flower growth, field stones, or the depression left after the soil has settled over the years. Many of the people here have been forgotten, mostly due to the lack of sufficient headstones. The Roberts family has kept track of their graves and have nice flowers over each one. This cemetery is located on 24th Court off of Cnty Rd F between Ontario and Mt. Tabor in Forest Township, Vernon County. The church is gone but the Fairview School (collapsed) is visible from Cnty Rd F.
