Mrs. Campbell died in her 81 years of her age, at her home in Lyons, Saturday June 2d. Mrs. Campbell with Peter Campbell, her husband, came to this vicinity in the fall of 1837 and built and occupied the first house on the present site of Lyons. The husband died in 1854, and Mrs. Campbell has made her home with her daughter, Mrs. S. Frazer, enduring much suffering there of late years. She was very highly esteemed by all. Her funeral was largely attended, Monday.
