Rest in Peace Mrs. Lucy Church Carr a former Harvard resident, died this morning September 5, 1945 at the Walworth County Hospital Wisconsin at the age of 58. Born June 24, 1887 in Harvard, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Church. She was married to Arthur T. Carr on August 14, 1926, and the couple made their home in Cleveland Heights, Ohio, but spent their summers at Lake Geneva. Surviving are two sisters, Miss Ethel Church and Miss Eloise Church, both of Harvard. Mrs. Lucy Carr came to Cleveland in 1919 to accept a teaching post at Glenville High School. In 1922 she was made assistant principal at Audubon Junior High School. In 1925 she was made assistant principal and Dean of Girls at Collinwood High School. She has been active in Women's Club circles having held membership in the College Club, Research Club and the Cleveland Federation of Women's Clubs. She was a member of the Fairmount Presbyterian Church. Pall bearers at the services were William H. Hall, Percy Saunders, Robert Goll, Joe Harris, Frank Bush and W.C. Hall. Flower bearers were Mrs. Ann Goll, Florence Harris, Adeline Saunders, Dorothy Hall, Martha Goldrich and Martha Snode. Officiating the services were Dr. James E. Congdon and Dr. G. A. Papperman.
