The fire started in the offices used by A. E. Adams. The ranger fire fighting equipment was called and their assistance kept the fire from spreading to other parts of the building. Mr. Adam suffered a loss of valuable files and papers and the interior of his offices were damaged. The store and post office which are located in the front of the building were only slightly damaged by smoke and water.
