Grace Holt died at Community Hospital in Spooner. She was born 9/19/1906 in 
Knox, IN to Elonadus & Sina (Wall) Davis. On 4/30/1927, she married Alois 
Schmid. They owned and operated a store in New Mexico. They moved to Earl in 
1948 where they had a general store. Her husband died in 1957, then she ran a 
bottle gas route. On 8/6/1968 she married Ralph Holt in Earl. They ran the gas 
route until retirement in 1975. Mr. Holt died in 1979.
Survivors include a stepson, Larry Holt of Spooner; 4 step-daughters, Elaine 
Kruger of Minong, Norma Anderson of Springbrook, Lois Courter of Fort Myers, 
FL, and Linda Austin of Wausau; a sister, Gladys Doolin of South Bend, IN; 17 
grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
Burial was in Earl Cemetery.
